The Awards

Global Clean India Awards organised by the Energy And Environment Foundation shall recognise and honour outstanding organisations that are taking responsibility for defining and promoting a pollution free industrial culture and adoption of best practices in and around offices, workplaces, mining areas, power plants, petrochemical units, production units, institutions and creating a work environment and culture that promotes and sustains all aspects of health environment and sanitation.

The Awards shall focus on excellence in pollution control and a culture of sanitation and waste management in a sustainable manner in order to significantly advance workforce productivity and performance and near zero adverse impact on the surrounding areas.

Objectives

Encourage & motivate to adopt best practices and become role model for others to emulate. Encourage implementation of strategies for improvement in operation standards, create harmony between industry and the environment.

Eligibility

These Awards are open for Nomination from Companies or establishments, Public & Private Sectors. Large or Medium, integrated industrial estates, industrial regions are eligible for participation in the award.

Evaluation of nominations for Global Clean India Awards is an intensive process. Nominations are evaluated by the Jury - experts from Government, Academia and Industry.

Submission of Application

Global Clean India Award’s application complete with all information and documentary evidence (photo, video, surveys etc.) and ompliance report from the concerned Pollution Control Board for the previous financial year (2013-14), video footage of the industrial premises its operating areas, work places, kitchens, toilets and its immediate vicinity will be expected to accompany the application. Applicable processing fee alongwith complete application in soft (MS world file) and hard form (printed copy by post) should reach Secretariat on or before Februaty 28, 2025

Selection Process

»   Preliminary evaluation of nominations.
»   Mandatory Oral Presentation with original documents by all short-listed nominee      company/units in presence of Jury members constituted by Energy And Environment      Foundation.
»   Site visit of short-listed companies / units, whenever feasible.
»   Award Declaration

Shell Stand

It is appreciated if winners of the awards shall display the capability and expertise of the company in the form of exhibits. A shell space will be available for display your project achievements to all participants, government officials, industry leaders and management institutes. Details available on request.
