The Awards

Organized by the Energy and Environment Foundation, the Global Sustainable Construction & Infrastructure Award 2026 honors individuals, teams, and organizations for exceptional contributions to sustainable construction and infrastructure development. The award celebrates innovation, leadership, and impactful initiatives that advance eco-friendly construction practices, responsible resource utilization, climate-resilient infrastructure, and green technologies for a sustainable future.

Eligibility

»   Large-scale sustainable infrastructure projects including airports, railways, metros, roads, highways, tunnels, power plants, and water systems.
»   Public Sector Units (PSUs) implementing impactful green construction and sustainability initiatives.
»   Government bodies and agencies engaged in sustainable infrastructure development.
»   Public–private partnerships (PPP), EPC contractors, developers, and corporate enterprises.
»   Organizations excelling in sustainability, innovation, environmental responsibility, and aesthetic excellence.

Evaluation of nominations for Global Sustainability Champion Awards is an intensive process. Nominations are evaluated by the Jury - experts from Government, Academia and Industry.

Submission of Application

Submissions must be sent before 28th February 2026 and include a completed form, a detailed project description (maximum 1000 words), sustainability metrics, photos, renderings, a 5-minute video, and optional recognitions or certifications.

Selection Process

Projects completed within the last two years will be considered.
Evaluation will be based on:
»   Preliminary evaluation of nominations.
»   Mandatory Oral Presentation with original documents by all short-listed nominee company/units in presence of Jury members constituted by Energy And Environment Foundation.
»   Site visit of short-listed companies / units, if necessary.
»   Award Declaration
A distinguished jury of experts in sustainable construction, infrastructure, environment, and climate will evaluate all entries, ensuring a fair and transparent assessment aligned with global green building and infrastructure standards.

Shell Stand

It is appreciated if winners of the awards shall display the capability and expertise of the company in the form of exhibits. A shell space will be available for display your project achievements to all participants, government officials, industry leaders and management institutes. Details available on request.

Awards Presentation

Energy And Environment Foundation Global Sustainable Construction & Infrastructure Awards 2026 will be presented on 17th April 2026 at NDMC Convention Center, Parliament Street, New Delhi, India.
